House Rededication Ceremony

Brothers,
As the leaves change colors and the mornings grow a little brisker, let us think about the many times we returned to school looking forward to another year of fond memories made with good friends.  Let us remember all of the opportunities that were afforded to us, as students, through the kindness of our parents or generous alumni.  Though we have moved on with our careers and possibly started families, let us remember the friends that were so close for those years but with whom we may have lost contact.  It is now time to relive those memories, share them with new families, or re-connect with old friends.

Please join us with the newly initiated brothers of Sigma Chi, Theta Chapter, on the 17th of October as they re-dedicate the house on Carlisle Street that so many of us called home for the years we spent in Gettysburg.  It is a time to celebrate the hard work that these young men put forth so that we all have a home to which we can return every fall for Homecoming.

After cheering on a couple of our new brothers, Mike Smith (Theta, 2010) and Matt Grujich (Theta, 2011), to a Bullets football victory on Saturday or catching up with all of the changes around campus, the undergraduates will be hosting a reception at the chapter house at 240 Carlisle Street from 4:00pm until roughly 6:00pm.  If not up for football, stop by the house early.  During that time, we will have the annual alumni chapter meeting and, more importantly, the house rededication ceremony.  All of your family is invited to attend the reception and rededication.  In order to plan for refreshments however, we ask that you RSVP via the chapter website or to the House Corp President at the below address by Wednesday, October 7th.  Cost for the event estimated at $35 per person can be paid in advance, again via the website or directly to the House Corp President.  PLEASE Pre Register even if paying at the house on Saturday.

Mark the date on your calendar in order to join in the celebration.
